The gameplay here has taken on a much more sandbox dimension and instead of sticking to the story, we rather deal with the implementation of loosely connected scenarios and tasks. ![]() The main difference is the fact that in the third part of the series we won't find a classic, compact story campaign. Just like in previous installments of the series, in The Guild 3 we play the role of a medieval townsman, dealing mainly with trade and politics, and our task is to create a strong dynasty, which will be able to survive even a few hundred years and changes occurring in Europe. The game's plot begins in 1400, the late medieval era, when a certain period of the world's development ends and a new way of thinking begins to reign. ![]() However, unlike its predecessors (and their official supplements), which were created by JoWood Entertainment and the 4Head Studios team, the new publisher of the series - Nordic Games - entrusted the task of creating the game to the GolemLabs team, previously known mainly for the series of geopolitical simulators SuperPower. ![]() Like all previous installments of the series, the title was created exclusively for PCs. The Guild 3 is the third full-fledged installment of the game series launched in 2002, which skillfully combines elements of economic strategies, life simulators and RPGs. ![]()
